𝗧𝗵𝗶𝗲𝗿𝗿𝘆 𝗗𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀 𝗡𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 Our senior awards evening was held this past Saturday night at the Australian Italian Club Launceston. It was an unforgettable night for our star striker Thierry Swaby, who took home a clean sweep of awards: the Peter Savill Medal for NPL Best and Fairest, the Players’ Player award as voted by his teammates, and the Golden Boot as the team’s leading goalscorer. Winning the Best and Fairest, Players’ Player, and Golden Boot is a rare feat that hasn’t been achieved many times by a player from our senior men’s team, firmly placing Thierry in an illustrious group in our club’s history. But the awards didn’t stop there for Thierry! He was also awarded the McDonald’s NPL Tasmania Goal of the Year for his Round 5 solo effort against Clarence. Well done, Thierry, on an amazing first year in Tasmania! We can’t wait to do it all again in 2025!
