WELCOME TO THE HOME OF LAUNCESTON CITY FOOTBALL CLUB

Competing across Tasmania in Football Tasmania and Northern Tasmanian Junior Soccer Association endorsed competitions, Launceston City Football Club provides a pathway from junior to senior levels beginning form the age of 4 through to adulthood for both men and women.

Based out of Prospect Vale on the west side of Launceston, the club has continually represented the region at the highest levels of competition across the state since 1958. Our junior club is now one of the largest in the state, with more than 500 players. We offer access to a developed program and Skills Acquisition Program for all skills and ages. We also offer our Opal Juventus Youth Academy, which aligns with our mission to develop pathways and players to compete at the highest level.

Check out all the latest news from Launceston City Football Club or read up on the 65+ year history of our great club.

A reminder to everyone that registrations close Feb 29th. Any registrations post this date will be subject to availability and may not be able to be accommodated for full age groups.

The NTJSA has requested all teams to be entered and finalised by March 8th with the first seeding round scheduled for April 5/6 for applicable age groups (U9 and above). To enable us enough time to sort teams we request that all players are registered by no later than February 29th - easy to remember being a leap year! Rego link below 👇🏼

Lots of teams means lots of coaches and team managers - our coaches information night with Club Technical Director Alex Aylott and Junior President Josh Perry from last season was really well received and will be on again March 17th.

Contact us at juniors@launcestoncity.com.au to register your interest in coaching for 2024 (no experience necessary - we’ve got you!).

We’re proud to say we’ve held fees as close to last season as possible (a slight increase by the governing body was passed on), however, we know that back to school time is expensive and can strain the budget. Ticket to play is available for concession card holders and we encourage those who have concerns regarding costs to contact us so we can chat about how we can help get everyone involved on the pitch this season!
