WELCOME TO THE HOME OF LAUNCESTON CITY FOOTBALL CLUB

Competing across Tasmania in Football Tasmania and Northern Tasmanian Junior Soccer Association endorsed competitions, Launceston City Football Club provides a pathway from junior to senior levels beginning form the age of 4 through to adulthood for both men and women.

Based out of Prospect Vale on the west side of Launceston, the club has continually represented the region at the highest levels of competition across the state since 1958. Our junior club is now one of the largest in the state, with more than 500 players. We offer access to a developed program and Skills Acquisition Program for all skills and ages. We also offer our Opal Juventus Youth Academy, which aligns with our mission to develop pathways and players to compete at the highest level.

We are thrilled to welcome another new NPL face to our squad and season, this week we welcome Aidan Sands.

NPL coach, Daniel Syson has this to say about our newcomer.

“Aidan has been playing in the UK and after starting his football journey typically later than others, he’s progressed and kept consistently improving throughout his journey.

He has the ability to beat players in 1v1s and has a great first touch and has a superb work ethic and has the composure in front of goal that will again help add more goals to our side”.

“I’m really looking forward to see what Aidan can accomplish with us, his attitude and determination is clear, even from the first training session”.

Welcome to City, Aidan ⚫️⚪️ 👏🏻

WOW! What a fun night we had on Saturday with over 250 of our junior members Lighting Up Our City!

Thank you to all that joined in the Glow Party. This was a successful fundraiser which will continue to support the juniors and our initiatives.

We loved to see so many children (and parents) dancing, singing and creating such good vibes 🥳

A very big thankyou to DJ Dan for the music, the Australian Italian Club for the venue, the wonderful parents for bringing the children along and of course the Junior Committee, who volunteered many hours of their time to make this happen.

We love our community 🫶🏻
Who wants to do it all again next year? 🕺🏻🪩
