Competing across Tasmania inย Football Tasmaniaย andย Northern Tasmanian Junior Soccer Associationย endorsed competitions, Launceston City Football Club provides a pathway from junior to senior levels beginning form the age of 4 through to adulthood for both men and women.
Based out of Prospect Vale on the west side of Launceston, the club has continually represented the region at the highest levels of competition across the state since 1958. Our junior club is now one of the largest in the state, with more than 500 players. We offer access to a developed program and Skills Acquisition Program for all skills and ages. We also offer our Opal Juventus Youth Academy, which aligns with our mission to develop pathways and players to compete at the highest level.

Launceston City FC Northern Championship Men's training is held every Tuesday and Thursday at Carrick Sportsground (until further notice) commencing this week 14th January.
Under the guidance of NC Men's coach Dan Smith and NC1 Men's coach Wayne Wager, these sessions cater to a range of experience and commitment levels and are open to anyone interested in coming along to have a kick with Launceston City FC.

If you are a new or returning player interested in being a part of our Northern Championship Womenโs programs in 2025, training will be held at Scotch Oakburn Park on Tuesdays and Thursdays commencing this Tuesday 14th January.
Our WSL Futures program is an additional session per week, held on Mondays with club Technical Director Alex Aylott, for those that want to be a part of the journey as we return to the Womenโs Super League in 2026.
Re-commencing tomorrow, 13th January, our WSL Futures is aimed at:
โข Current LCFC player ready to step up,
โข Current WSL or NCW player seeking further development and more opportunity, or
โข Established WSL player interested in a new, supportive environment
