The Heart of the City πŸ€πŸ–€ Some milestones deserve more than a mention. Lachlan Clark has just marked his 20th season with Launceston City Football Club. Two decades representing our club, our colours and our community. Across those years, Lachie has established himself as one of Tasmania’s most respected goalkeepers. But his contribution to City reaches far beyond what he has done between the posts. Longevity. Loyalty. Leadership. The standards he sets and the example he continues to provide for the next generation of players coming through behind him. Ask around our club - or the broader Tasmanian football community - and you’ll hear the same things about Lachie: Enormously respected, generous with his time, a brilliant teammate and, most importantly, an exceptional human. For our latest Heart of the City, we caught up with Lachie to reflect on 20 seasons of football - the memories, the people, the moments that have mattered and what Launceston City has come to mean after two decades. A fitting milestone for someone who has given so much to our club, and a story we’re very proud to share. Forza Juve πŸ–€πŸ€
πŸ’§ Proud partners of our WSL team: Blackley Pipelines & Irrigation Great partnerships are not always the most obvious ones, but we are incredibly grateful to have Blackley Pipelines & Irrigation behind our Women’s Super League team this season. A proudly Tasmanian-owned business, Blackley Pipelines & Irrigation delivers expert water management solutions across agriculture, mining, industrial and residential sectors, designing, installing and servicing irrigation, pipeline and pumping systems across the state. While their sponsorship directly supports our WSL team, their generosity extends right across our Club. Most recently, they donated a new wall-mounted water bottle filler and tap for everyone at Launceston City to use. You can find it in the entry to the Peter Mies Pavilion, next to the wet area - a very practical addition that will help keep the bottles filled and our junior and senior players, coaches, volunteers and families hydrated throughout many seasons to come. A huge thank you to the team at Blackley Pipelines & Irrigation for backing our women and supporting our whole Club community. We are very proud to have you on board. βš½οΈπŸ’§
