Our Board and Committees
Launceston City Football Club is governed by a dedicated volunteer Board committed to strong leadership, robust governance, and long-term sustainability. Guided by our Strategic Plan, the Board is responsible for overseeing the club’s vision, ensuring high standards of accountability, and driving growth on and off the pitch.
Board of Management
Our skills based Board brings together committed individuals with expertise in community development, finance, project management, education, business, risk, law and governance. Together, they work to advance LCFC’s strategic priorities including:
- Strengthening developmental pathways (from MiniRoos to WSL/NPL)
- Ensuring inclusivity and safeguarding across all programs
- Building deep community and stakeholder partnerships
- Growing long-term club sustainability through sponsorships, grants, and facilities improvements
- Ensuring the financial management of the club
- Overseeing the development of facilities and infrastructure to benefit the club
The Board meets regularly throughout the year to monitor operational performance, guide strategic decisions, and support the work of sub-committees.
Committees
LCFC’s day-to-day operations are supported by a series of active committees, each with a dedicated focus area.
These include:
- Football Department –
Overseeing NPL, WSL, and Championship-level football. - Senior Committee
Assisting with the operational running of the home ground, match days and facilities and events. - Junior Football Committee
Supporting MiniRoos, youth teams, and community engagement. - Sponsorship & Partnerships Committee
Working with local business, sponsors, and grant funders - Facilities and Infrastructure Committee
